We are in need of a custom (or your standard) single screw and barrel set designed for the extrusion of PBAT and PBS monofilament. Key specs include a preferred screw diameter of 20 mm, an L/D ratio of 30:1 focused on low shear for biodegradable polymers, and a compression ratio around 2:1 to 2.5:1. Our target output is approximately 5 kg/h, with final monofilament diameters of 2 mm, 2.5 mm, and 3 mm. For the barrel, we're looking for a bimetallic option that's corrosion and wear-resistant, capable of handling processing temperatures between 120-175 °C. Please provide a detailed technical proposal including screw drawings (if available), recommended geometry, material specifications, delivery time, and EXW/FOB pricing. Additionally, your advice on the optimal die diameter for the 2-3 mm monofilament, the ideal RPM range, and the expected throughput stability for PBAT would be appreciated.
