We are looking for a lens that meets specific optical requirements. The lens should provide a minimum image circle of 28.3 mm to ensure full sensor coverage, and have primary magnification between 1.6× and 2×. It's essential for the lens to be object-side telecentric, ideally bi-telecentric, to minimize perspective errors across different depths. Additionally, we require a resolution of approximately 100 LP/mm, with a depth of field ranging from 1 mm to 3 mm and distortion below 0.1% across the full field of view. For illumination, a telecentric (collimated) LED illuminator is necessary with high power capabilities for exposure times up to 100 ns. We also prefer it to support pulse width modulation with a minimum pulse width of 50 ns.
