We're looking for a 1kW wind turbine suitable for a small energy autonomy system near the sea with strong winds. The turbine must include a dynamic electrical brake for rotor stopping via a manual ground switch, and it should be explicitly rated as Marine Grade with an ISO 12944 corrosion rating.
Additionally, please provide the IP rating for both the generator and controller — ideally IP67 or IP68. It should also be certified to IEC 61400-2, support a maximum survival wind speed of at least 50 m/s, and include thrust force and overturning moment data. Lastly, confirm if there's a secondary safety system in case the electrical brake fails. We're open to proposals for any suitable turbine types, whether HAWT or VAWT.
